Hombre Ombré soap is a handcrafted, small-batch cold processed soap. Its scent is a blend of ylang ylang, amber, and orange with a subtle hint of patchouli. Ylang ylang is a yellow, star-shaped flower native to trees surrounding the Indian Ocean. It has a rich, sligthly fruity scent. For that reason, perfumes and colognes sometimes rely on it for a citrus note. In addition, traditional herbal medicine often makes use of ylang ylang. In Hombre Ombré , the ylang ylang and orange balance by the warm amber notes and the spicy musky scent of patchouli. The soap produces a rich lather.
Poured in layers with silver mica lines between them, Hombre Ombré has a neutral gray ombre that fades from near black to light gray based on the proportion of activated charcoal in each layer.
The primary ingredients in Hombre Ombré soap include coconut oil, palm oil, canola oil, olive oil, castor oil, sodium hydroxide, and Vitamin E. Each bar also contains activated charcoal, titanium dioxide, and micas. Each bar of Hombre Ombré is unique with slight variations in size. The bars are approximately 4.5 oz.
