Part of the Spring Collection, Petal of Honor soap is a handcrafted, small-batch cold processed soap. Its fragrance is a sweet mix of cherry blossoms, strawberry, and a hint of pineapple. Petal of Honor soap has a dramatic swirl pattern of brown and pale pink in a base of creamy white soap. On top of this soap is a cold processed soap cherry blossom embed and some detergent-free glycerin cherry blossom branches.
Petal of Honor is an homage to the beautiful cherry blossom trees that bloom in the Spring near my home in Maryland. Cherry blooms also are a big part of where I grew up, in Washington, DC. Every year, the Tidal Basin hosts the National Cherry Blossom Festival. The festival celebrates these beautiful trees, which were a gift to the city. The mayor of Tokyo gifted them to Washington DC in 1912 in the spirit of international friendship. Now, cherry blossoms in bloom are a sure sign that Spring is here!
The primary ingredients in Petal of Honor include coconut oil, palm oil, water, canola oil, olive oil, castor oil, sodium hydroxide, and vitamin E. This bar produces creamy, fluffy lather.
Each bar of Petal of Honor is unique with variations in swirl pattern and slight variations in size. However, the bars are approximately 4.5 oz.
